Vicky Kubitscheck - Partner

I joined Independent Audit with over 25 years commercial experience working with boards and executive management to establish systems of risk governance in response to evolving regulatory and strategic business requirements. 

My practical and entrepreneurial approach ensures that boards and executive management alike get better value from their risk management and assurance efforts, with solutions that recognise their particular needs but always focus on the strategic direction of the business.  My experience ranges from global financial services and FTSE 100 companies to mutuals, smaller organisations and other private companies. 

Prior to joining Independent Audit, I held senior positions at AEGON UK that included Head of Audit, Risk and Compliance, where I was responsible for leading the three functions across the AEGON UK group and delivering key risk and compliance initiatives.  I held similar roles at AXA UK and the Target (TSB) Group.  

I am a Fellow and Member of the IIA, and Chair of the Insurance Internal Audit Group, which supports nearly 100 member organisations in their on-going development of risk, governance, internal audit and compliance practices.  In addition to speaking on these subjects, I have also published articles and am a contributory author to two books on risk management and cutting edge internal auditing.
