The quality of board information remains a source of frustration, and the problem appears to be growing. In 2023 just 28% of directors said their board pack “helped the conversation”, compared to 52% in 2020*. While it’s common to find dissatisfaction with papers, the preparation process and the way they are presented in meetings, it can be harder to know where to start when it comes to making improvements.
