Susan Stenson

Susan leads the team of board effectiveness professionals at Independent Audit where we have a shared belief in strong governance as a catalyst for organisational and societal change.

Susan started her career as a corporate lawyer in a London City law firm before moving to Euroclear in Brussels where she held a number of management roles.

She has a wealth of experience of working with Boards across Europe, and has hands-on experience of many different aspects of the governance framework and making governance work in practice . She  was Company Secretary to the Euroclear Board for more than 10 years and led the group’s governance and investor relations division through a phase of transformation and regulatory change.
